I bought one of those RG255 multi effects pedals a month or so ago which has an interface to plug into the PC to record etc. I hooked the thing up as per instructions and installed the drivers. I found the registration for CuBase to be long winded and tedious but went through all the steps as required and at the end it said it was sending an email to my nominated email account, but then went back to the first data entry screen. It didnt say that the application was successful or not. I havent received the email. Im just wondering if anyone here has had any issues with the rgistration for CuBase. And also, Im interested to hear if anyone has anything to say about Cubase in either good or bad terms, as I still cannot open the bloody interface without the activation code.

Was this a freeware version of Cubase? If so I wouldn't waste time on it, before I bought FL Studio I was using Audacity which is a freeware program, works great if you just need a simple recording interface. I had a similar issue with a freeware version of Ableton and I eventually gave up on it for what I would have ended up getting.
