The riff after 1:33. So ****ing heavy for something from the early 80's.

I think out of all of the tech death bands I have heard, Soreption has certainly had the most mind-blowing parts. This song at 2:15.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=qt0qVWnpykY#t=122s

And then in this song, it just makes for a sick part in a song.

If anyone knows of bands exactly like Soreption, please do tell me.

The band Beyond Creation has some arguably cooler parts in songs. As evident in this part and other as well, hell this entire song is just awesome.

4:25 is cool as well.

Gentle Giant - The chorus of So Sincere. 1:15 and 2:06.

Pain of Salvation - Final verse of Beyond the Pale (and many many other moments on Remedy Lane) 6:28.

Bit different to what most people are linking but to my ears the 'heavy part' of Soma by Smashing Pumpkins is unreal when it kicks in after the whole mellow build up, then the solo kicks in and wow, mind blown.
Meh...

The end riff of Dire Straits' On Every Street. One of the best riffs ever in my opinion. Mark knopfler is so underrated.

The part at 2:00. There really isn't anything special about it but it really does it for me . Take a listen.

In Rock of Ages the movie, they did a cover of David Lee Roths "Just Like Paradise".

The harmonics in that song blow my fucking mind. I dont know why, they just do. I love harmonics.

The way it builds to it's conclusion is absolutely stunning.

Hell yes. I came to post more ISIS.

From 4:45 through to the end is just incredible. Specifically the riffage at 5:28. The whole lead up rules.

Also, the first time I heard Garden of Light it absolutely blew me away. Really powerful track. No specific moment for this one, just the entire song.

I'm not posting times to the mindblowing bits because it is the entire context of the song before them that make them have any kind of emotional effect.

There are too many mind blowing parts of the new Between The Buried and Me album to list them all.

Just go listen to the whole THING.

for me it would have to be the guitar solo in geek usa by smashing pnpkins, and the drumming throughout the song
