Hello Guys, just wanted to share with you my C24, i finished applying the new color, i got tired of the TransBlack it originally came with.

I'm calling this Dark Green to Yellow-Green fade the "Black Green Arkham".

Hope you like it, she will be coated with Lacquer.

Nico.

But theres no reason why i cant be free like a raspberry stuck to the back of a horny elephants ass.

This is maybe the worst comparison in the history of comparisons.

It was a TransBlack finish. Here she is curing right after the color was applied.

To those who either can't speak Spanish or deduce which was which, the one on the left is "After" and the one on the right is "Before."

UPDATE: Just finished doing the back and sides and the "Brazilian Rosewood neck", of course it is not rosewood, but i managed to mix just the right amount of tints to reproduce that same look!!! love it.

The natural wood color of the back and sides shows like its uneven, but once the clear coat is sprayed it will look even!.

Well, i'll tell you its a lot of work, if i have learn anything doing this is that i have far more respect for the guys that sand, stain, tape, spray and buff the finish then ever before. This is my first PRS to refinish and my first stain burst attempt. To do the natural binding on the body is hard and mine did not end up as perfect as PRS does it and it was to be expected, no one gets to be an expert the next day, takes years of practice and i am at that case, i still have many years to master a lot of stuff.

But this hard work pays off once you finish and learned a few things and can say that you actually did paint the guitar and it has your hard worked sweat on it!

Is there a chance we can get a back shot? I'd really like to see how it looks from behind.

Also, it must take some serious balls to make something like this, kudos for that.

What the actual fuck

have you shown PRS?

Because you could license the shit out if that colour
#38
Holy shit. It's like a Dragonburst. only not shit-looking.

Very nicely done.

I was just about to say, "WHY THE **** WOULD YOU DO THIS TO A MARYLAND PRS??!?!"

But Gregs has made me not yell that. He's pretty influential. Either way the re-finishing was awesome, but it still hurts me on the inside a bit.
