I think a lot of the internet would like Obama to win, I certainly would. I'm not old enough nor an american citizen, otherwise I would be voting.

I hope Obama wins, he hasn't done anything monumentally stupid, he seems(ed) to be gradually fixing Bush's mistakes.

I underlined and bolded a very important key statement. Nice job making that realization.

The company who owns the machines also count the votes i believe. That's where he'll cheat

I guess you can say that he holds the election in his mitts.

Ehh, I dunno you guys, that doesn't seem worth the incredibly high risk.

Although I can't think of any other reason to own a voting machine.

It's Mitt Romney. He'll do anything to win. If it was too risky then why would he have bought it? He'll claim it was "coincidence"

Well, as an American who is old enough to vote, i thank the flying spaghetti monster that you're not old enough or an American citizen. Obama has CONTINUED bush's wars, he has CONTINUED bush's illegal domestic surveillance operations (and EXPANDED them), CONTINUED bush's corporate bailouts, CONTINUED bush's idiotic subsidies for "green energy," CONTINUED bush's over regulation, labeled political dissenters as possible terrorists, used the FBI to instigate terror attacks so they can then foil them, killed an American citizen without due process, stormed into a friendly nation without warning, and levied tariffs on Chinese tires (oh yay, a trade war.... just what a country with a poor economy and a ridiculous debt needs)

on top of this, mr. compassion has also rounded up more mexican families and shipped them back south of the border than bush ever did, and he has ordered more raids on medical marijuana facilities in his one term than bush did in two terms.

I know what you're going to say... "but at least he's not bush." I hated Bush, but i would take my chances with a third bush term before i would take my chances with a second Obama term. So you give me a choice between Obama and Romney, I'll take my chances with Romney.

Raising further questions of legitimacy in the Romney campaign is an audio recording recently made public, where Mitt Romney is heard asking independent business owners to apply pressure to their employees to influence their votes. What has also been made public are the emails those employers have sent to their employees with an implied threat that if they don't vote for Romney they may lose their jobs.

Actually, if you look through my previous posts, you'd see I've slammed both Romney and Obama. I find both to be terrible candidates.

I'll probably end up voting by flipping a coin. (Not really...but I really am debating not even voting this year. Ugh!)

I agree. I don't really like either but Romney just doesn't seem like a good guy. It's basically the lesser of two evils. And i'm not voting either. I was going to but the mailman ****ed up my registration form and by the time he told me, it was too late

Shit sucks.

Personally, I feel like doing my civic duty and all, but with me not supporting either candidate (or any 3rd party candidates either)...it's like, "Who do I pick?"

Nope, because it's not a direct personal threat. Basically, they get around this by saying that a second Obama term will negatively impact their industry outlook, so they will "be forced" to downsize their workforce.

...modes and scales are still useless.

Stereotypical misunderstanding of what is really going on in America. Obama is slowly turing this country into a socialist state. That may be cool in Europe but I personally like capitalism. You can blame Bush for everything under the sun (and the media/ general public has) but the fact of the matter is that Obama has now been in office for four years and things are NOT better. All his "hope and change" has been little more then cheap talk. This voting season I will be voting for the man I believe will take my freedoms away the slowest. No candidate will ever be perfect. Everyone has their flaws. Obama included. I would like a candidate who is unapologetically constitutional. Someone who will stand up for what America was founded on. The ideals our forefathers put forth when we became a country should still be held in high regard. Not thrown away and ignored for ones personal agenda. That is NEITHER of these men. (Obama or Romney) Although out of the two I will vote for Romney because I believe he can do a better job. I realize I am definitely in the minority (on this site anyway) in this aspect but please, let's try and be civil here. Hope that sheds some light on a different way of thinking.

If I were one of their workers, I'd attempt to sue. I'd very much doubt that any business is actually at stake, but what is at stake is the salary of the people at the very top. It conjures images in my head of children in a sandbox, and one kid owns all the toys, but he does share one tiny dinky, and when the other child asks for more, they pack it all up and go home. And firing people won't even help them, they'll only be digging themselves deeper in the long run.
