Hey guys i want to buy a guitar for about 650$ and i can't find any that i like.

I would like a guitar with:

Thin Neck
Set neck or neck thru
6 strings
H/H or H/S/H
And a very versatile song ( i like to go from blues to heavy metal and vice-versa :p)

Thanks guys!

Washburn USA used (if you find one, most owners want to keep them thanks to their outstanding quality and due to low resale value), RG 550 or 570 used, ESP the junior used, Gibson LP studio used, fender USA fat strat used, ...

It all depends which of these you find most comfortable.

Why is set neck or neck thru desirable?

If you want a thin neck then arguably bolt-on is best as in the unlikely event of it breaking you can replace it easily - but ultimately by needlessly worrying about the neck joint your severely narrowing your options for no reason

You need to be more specific.

What pickups do you want?

What woods do you want?

What body style?

What's your amp?

Well i would like active pickups but passive will also do.
Woods... Well i dont really know what's the diference between it. But i would like it to be light.

The body style doesn't concern me but the only thing that i ask is that it AINT a V shaped guitar ( my dad hates it)

For a practise amp i have a Roland 20X

For other stuff a Vox. ( a little bit bigger ).

Oh and the fretboard can be either rosewood or maple but i prefer maple.

This kinda indicates that you don't really know what you want from your guitar. I would suggest going to a guitar store and trying as many guitars that you like the look of as possible because different woods and pickups really make a difference as to how a guitar sounds.

**** your father's opinion, its your guitar. Get a guitar that you want whether it be a V or whatever else. You're buying a guitar for yourself, not him.

Look for a Godin Velocity. They go for about $900 new, and half that used. HSS configuration.

Other used Godins to look for include the Session (HSS)and Freeway (HSH).

Sounds to me like you want an LTD MH series. Go for a 400 or 1000 series (go used).
Current Gear:
LTD MH-400
PRS SE Custom 24 (BKP C-Bomb/VHII)
ESP Horizon NT-7 (SD Full Shreds)
UA Apollo Twin Duo
Peavey Revalver 4, UAD Friedman BE100/DS40
Focal Alpha 65 monitors

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
