Bought a guitar today and I'm pretty excited.

What could it be? I dont know.

Ahhh, there it is.

Got it used, $225. Its in fairly good shape. A very scratches and bump here and there but great guitar for the price. There's 11s on it so I'm still getting used to those. Haha, but its a sweet guitar. Should have clips of it either today or tomorrow.

I still look forward to the day that someone makes one of these threads, and then just opens the box and goes: "And here it...Oh...nothing in it..."

But yeah, you got something you wanted, for a small price and in great condition. Great buy, and HNGD.

81/60 or 81/85? nice score dude! hngd

Its 81/85 combo

85 = gold EMG logo

81 = silver EMG logo

60 = greyish EMG logo

And any EMG with an orange logo is a coil splitable EMG

some of the weirder specialty ones will have some color logos as mentioned above, but they are less commonly used. And well the newer models just look so different that its pretty obvious.

Happy NGD!! I've always wanted a guitar with EMG's.
Heavy metal has its own particular kind of glorious thunder — a dark, droning crunch that's almost druidic in its appeal to the adolescent psyche.

Nice. I hope you enjoy it. I have a similar one and love it. Let us know how the EMGs sound.
