Hi guys, I saw this while visiting a small music shop, managed to take a few pics:





I've never seen such a model before. How does that differ from a strat? Btw they are selling it for 600$

All I could find is they are a 26" baratone scale and fender made them in 2000-01.

Strange, it didn't seem to be a baritone guitar. But maybe I just didn't notice the extended scale. Where were they made? Mexico? Japan?

Thats because it is a 26" scale baratone. It is only .5" longer than the normal fender 25.5 scale.

I didn't see where they were made, but I suspect MIM because they were available in the US and the CIJ/MIJ Fenders are not.

Might be just the right guitar for me. I have always looked for a guitar for down-tuning that is similar to my strat. Think I'll visit the shop again and give it a try.
