I've been busking a couple of times and after sending back a Stagg MOB20 that had a faulty battery life, I feel like I could do with something better. I found the Alesis and it looks pretty promising, can anybody vouch for it? I'd be using it to busk on a pretty busy street, mainly using an electro-acoustic and mic, but occasionally I might swap the acoustic for an electric and some pedals. I'd need at least 4 hours of battery life.
Thanks a lot

are those made for instruments? they seem to be more of a full range music system. seems like it just has a balanced input.

i know pignose makes some portable guitar amps. i have only played their smaller non-rechargeable amps though

From what I've heard pignoses don't have a microphone input? I may be wrong.

And well, it does have an iPod input, but it can also play a guitar and microphone, it's meant to be good for busking but I was just hoping to check out others' reactions.

EDIT: Anyone able to confirm that the Ashton BSK158 and the Roland Cube Street are both good quality/have any terror stories about them?

^oh, i thought you were just looking for something to play guitar through. pignose won't be able to do the mic in.

roland cubes get good press.

Only thing is the high price tag, it's whether I'd be earning my cash back with the extra volume...
