You want to get to the core?
Something you've not seen before.
Walking out to the shelf,
Deflate your lungs and sink yourself.

The expedition found their mud,
more time was spent in floating up.
But what was found in between,
blew all their minds back to the sea

Your two lips shut
You reach out
To hold us back

Progress seemed a distant thought,
and then they used their legs to walk.
To move about and kill to eat,
families decide what they need...

Is guidance
A helping hand
An old voice
To tell us how to be
Stretching time out
to our extent
we pull the ends
until it snaps
and the bloodlines wash
from empty Earth
that's indifferent
to Human Days
Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all.
I will definitely become a regular visitor of your topicOh, great article! I will keep this post.
I'm not really a lyricist, so I can't really offer any advice, but I really like this. It just seems really original, and not so corny and cliche as 90% of the lyrics I read.
I'm gonna suffer for the rest of my life

But I will always find a way to survive
