Post songs by the top 5 bands you listened to when you were fifteen.

Mine would be:

http://youtu.be/QTOKnYNI3tU

http://youtu.be/cmpTgA3_KFs

http://youtu.be/I2C36O0Yxoc

http://youtu.be/0MF9OTMtBc0 (still listen to these guys every now and them)

http://youtu.be/9Ht5RZpzPqw

And also, bonus just for the hell of it:

Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise

This indeed.

Maybe later, after I see some more sorrowful post.

I didn't listen to a ton of music when I was that age. Only really started getting into it around 14.

And I've always liked older stuff. The Rolling Stones were my first love, then I moved around a bit and landed on the Beatles. I got into Neil Young for awhile.

I honestly don't know

*Tries to work out what year that was*

I think I was in year 11 at secondary school then.

A friend got me into guitar, so I was a metalhead but liked other heavily-styled music. So I'd say it was:

Slayer - Still like
Iron Maiden - Like them, but get bored of them quick
Funeral For A Friend - Still a favourite band
Deftones - Also
Korn - Meh, but I don't hate them

In that time, I discovered black metal (Burzum), gothic/doom metal (Katatonia - which is one of my favourite bands ever since)

When I was 15 I remember enjoying Oasis. I was starting to get into the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and I knew I must've listened to Guns n' Roses back then.

I remember enjoying Pink Floyd, too.

I'm more ashamed of what I listened to when I was around 12-13, though, which was music like Sum 41, Linkin Park, and Fall out boy
