I hope this isn't against the rules.

For a guitar forum, there's surprisingly few links to cool guitar videos. Searching for "guitar videos" on this forum is an exercise in futility.

This thread is about sharing videos of lesser known but interesting guitar players, especially those with an unusual playing technique or musical style. This is not specific to any particular genre, so I thought I'd put it in The Pit. I'm trying to discover some new and exciting players, but there's a lot of material to sift through. Hopefully this thread will help filter out the good stuff.

I'll start off with a few of my favourites:

I never understand why people fail to grasp the concept of UG's other forums.

They're all genre-specific and most of the discussions there are about well known artists. This is a very general question and therefore I figured The Pit would be the best place to put it. Where else would it go?

Even Reddit's guitar section doesn't post any videos of people actually playing the guitar.

None of these have any threads that are like "Check out this video I found". There was one in Electric Guitar recently but it was closed for being against the rules. Most of the questions there are specific to those topics. This one is not.

While I understand your concerns, I don't see how this particular thread fits squarely into any of the above mentioned categories.

I'm not being sore, nor a cunt, and I don't appreciate you projecting that stance on my completely neutral and valid response.

You can still make one. I'm just saying, those forums are extremely useful and open for discussion, and the regulars in the other subforums are some of the most knowledgeable people in this entire community.

They are if you give them something specific to work with. Many of the questions I've asked in those subforums received few, if any, replies. I'm not trying to call anyone's expertise into question here. I just want to share guitar videos.

I'm just gonna pop in and say that Musician Talk is about music theory. Not the best name for it.

Interestingly, the Bandleading and Singing sub-forums are under the music theory forum. Not the most intuitive way of organizing forums.
^^The above is a Cryptic Metaphor^^

People seem to care too much about threads and the forums they go into, if a mod thinks it should be somewhere else then surely they can move them wherever but I agree, sometimes a single place doesn't fit.

But anyways, this guy is the guitarist of the unsuccessful Essex band InMe. He seems like your average guitarist in InMe but its his solo work which makes him shine.

I've said about this guy before in one of my own threads briefly but hey why not here too.

He's also had some help from Tomska.

He quit InME, their current guitarist is now Gazz Marlow.
