Hi guys, I write for a website called Carpemusica.com, we re-launched the site earlier this year and are currently organising interviews, reviews and introduction articles for the new year. We write about both unsigned and signed artists of various genres (some acts we've interviewed include Young Guns, Jake Bugg, Tracer and The Undertones).

Recently I was promoted to team Leader in the alternative/punk and rock section of our interviews (our editors has started organising our journalists into genre-specific team as this makes our work much easier) and I thought it would be a good idea to try and find some fresh talent on UG for my team to write about/interview/review. Ideally we'd like to write about bands who have some experience or a few stories to tell, especially if you've had some success in your local area.

If you'd like us to write about you and feature you on the website, please leave a link to your band's facebook page/soundcloud ect. (and some information about your band) and I'll be in touch.

P.S, here's a link to the site in case you want to check it out - http://carpemusica.com/

Anyway, it's a one man band in the indie rock/pop punk style with me on every instrument. The style is similar to Motion City Sountrack or The Rocket Summer with maybe some Foo Fighters in there. I have a single for free download right now and the full-length debut album will be out soon.

Hey,

Check out Youngblood, a Belgian melodic rock band. Influcences are Gaslight Anthem, Foo Fighters, ...

Short bio:
Youngblood is a five-piece Belgian band
which got formed in September 2010. The main objective is to make
straight forward, no-nonsense rock songs.
The band has access to a small arsenal of catchy choruses,
razor-sharp hooks and melodic vocals.

From one moment to the next the music ranges from
subdued and sincere to allout explosive.
A mix of old and new school rock makes the Youngblood tunes
sound both fresh and vintage.

We just released our first 'single' from our second demo EP. You can check it on our site. www.youngblood.be

To listen to the complete second demo, check http://vi.be/youngblood

We've got some stories to tell, like the Dog Eat Dog hangout we had when we played the same festival. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=436220349761578&set=pb.184565601593722.-2207520000.1357823674&type=3&theater

Sure, I'll tap in on this... My band's called At Death's Behest. We're a blackened death metal band out of Dryden, Michigan. Our vocalist is female (though everybody says she sounds like a guy lol), myself and the rhythm guitarist are 20, and the drummer and lead guitarist are 18-year old twins. We just got finished recording our debut album and it's going to be out soon, probably the end of the month or mid-February, when we're going to start playing more shows.

The tracks available for listening are demos, the same songs on the album are much better quality. Let us know what you think when you can!

Gate XIII

Symphonic Power Metal from Northern Ireland, music kind of in the style of Nightwish.

We just released our EP "Once Upon a Time", it can be heard at www.gatexiii.co.uk

and funnily enough from the same city as the undertones.

Electro industrial dance punk rock straight outta Salisbury and Southampton, UK.
2012 saw our debut album release and we got nominated for some local awards.
Shirley Manson also said, and I quote, "Good job!" about a Garbage cover we did once.

Hey there, I'm Max Warwick of Besegra. We are a thrash/death metal group from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. We have a strong following in our province and have been gaining following in Quebec and Europe.

We just recorded our debut EP with Bart Frydrychowicz (Quo Vadis), it is being mixed/mastered by Dennis Israel of Clintworks (i.e., Amon Amarth, 3 Inches of Blood, Misery Index, Ensiferum, etc...)

We will be getting reviewed in Hard Rocker Magazine (Poland), Legacy Magazine (Germany), and Brave Words & Blood Knuckles (Canada/International).

Always looking for more media.

Check us out in the links. Try out our better quality old recordings (as opposed to our home-recorded preprods to the album).

Cheers.
