looking for a reverb pedal to add to my rig as im at uni now and dont have my old amp with its own reverb.

extra question, are there any pedals out there that have reverb and delay effects that can be used simultaneously?

budget:
as cheap as possible but if necessary up to £110 new, and around £60 used

genres:
rock, alt-rock but i'll mainly be using it for RHCP-esque cleans.

new or used:
i would much prefer new but would go used if it was worth it

home or gig:
home, i doubt i'll be gigging again for a while

closest city:
bangor, wales, UK. theres no decent music shops but i'm more likely to buy online anyway

current gear:
-EH metal muff
-Boss DS-1 (which is rarely used)
-cheap 10 watt ss amp, i think its stagg or something like that

extra info:
stereo not required
a pedal with a delay effect would be a good bonus
dont really need something that can be preset
id like a pedal that i can get a lot of different sounds out of

i think that's everything

If you really want to go as cheap as possible, check out the Behringer DR400. It's a digital delay and reverb pedal which even includes a tap tempo version.

I know they don't have the best of reputations, but I bought mine used a year or two ago & it's still going OK. I'm guessing this is just a temporary measure while you're at uni & you'll be back to your main amp afterwards? If you're looking for a long term investment, feel free to ignore this suggestion.

Check out the TC Electronic Hall of Fame Reverb.

I got one for Christmas and it's one of the most versatile reverbs I own. Not sure about UK pricing, but they go for a bout $155 new CAD. Look into them for sure.
Main Rig:

Epiphone MKH Les Paul Custom 7 - Ronda
Ibanez RG8 "Scarlet" - AKA The Rambanez
Fender Strat "Danielle"/"Dani"

thanks i had a quick look at it but havent checked it out properly, if its cheap and does the job then im not really bothered. like i say i've got a terrible amp so i dont need the best sounding thing out there.

choosing between long term investment and temp measure would probably depend on the pedals though - but i'll have a look into it

Thats what some of the sounds are. It's like 4 out of the 10 possible choices for reverb. It's not the best quality, but it just gives you a bit of a taste of the pedal.

I recorded it quickly, so it isn't the best playing.

TC Electronic Hall Of Fame. Really nice pedal, picked myself up one the other day to see what all the hype is about. Compared it to a Boss rv-5 (Which has your preference of a delay option) but the reverbs did not even compare, for around the same price the Hall Of Fame seemed in a league of its own
