New custom paint day. My cousin just graduated school for auto detailing and does custom airbrushing on just about anything. I sent him over my Dean V for a black widow themed paint job and told him to go nuts. This is the final product. He decided to put the widow queen on the back as the front doesn't have a ton of space. As such, that got the spider web treatment.

I loved this guitar before and even more so now. Btw, this kid is going nowhere but up. He's only 18 and already putting out quality work. The paintings in the background are other things he's airbrushed. Will post some better close ups soon of the artwork since the flash he used in these pics kinda obscures the fine details.

cool, that is really good work. air brushing is harder than it looks, i have never tried myself.

however i have a friend who is a sculptor (think 9ft tall metal sculptures), and he does some airbrush work, i only saw him do something once, but watching it looked a lot harder than i thought it was.

but that is great work. send him my props on that.

That's pretty cool man. Nothing like having a one-of-a-kind guitar.

I saw in a couple of pictures that on Bucketheads Les Paul (only some pictures) that his neck pickup is painted in white. Can anyone explain to me why he would do this, and if there are any pros and cons.

The guy wears a KFC Bucket and a white mask during performances, and you're interested in the color of his pickup covers?

Some better shots of the detail he was able to get into this thing. If anyone happens to be in the Western New York Area and wants to look this kid up, msg me for his info. Pics are a bit grainy, you can thank my iPhone
