1978 USA Fender Precision Bass with ULTRA RARE CLAW Crescent Bridge INCREDIBLE!

You're looking at something you just may never see again. This is my vintage 1978 Fender Precision Bass made in America, and featuring the unbelievably rare "The Claw" or Crescent bridge. It's all brass, weighs a ton, and has tone and sustain for days; you will wonder how you ever got along without it. From the information that I have gathered on this instrument both from online and in local reputable shops, the bridge was sold as an aftermarket product through Kahler, with a very small number of them leaving the shop stock. It appears that this one is a stock part on the bass as there are no additional holes in the body or any evidence of aftermarket work, however I will not confirm that this is 100% true as I am not the original owner. Either way, the bridge is stamped "Fender USA PAT. PEND." and gives the bass a sound unlike anything else. Combined with the brass nut, there's nothing else like it, and good luck finding another one. It may as well be one a kind! And let's not forget the bass this excellent bridge is sitting on! A '78 P-bass totally blacked out with a stock thumb rest, a 20 fret maple neck, Fender tuners, and stock USA pickups and controls. Can you say Roger Waters?? This is an unbelievable bass, going on 35 years old, it has certainly seen its fair share of use, but it's still ready to take whatever you're willing to dish out. This bass will put that tone that's been stuck in your head for years at your fingertips. I currently do not have a case for it, however I'll go out and buy a really nice hard shell for new owner of this fine instrument. I am asking $3,000 for the bass. Shipping with paypal only and all fee's and costs and your expense. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have or to have more pictures sent to you. I have it listed locally and on Ebay as well, so it's only a matter of time before it sold and gone. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of Fender history. Good Luck!

BTW, I believe it's against the rules to post links to other sites where my stuff is for sale, but I do have more pictures posted on them, so you can PM me for the links. Thanks!
