So basically I'd like some input on some new acoustic songs to play, songs that ideally follow these guidelines:

Single acoustic guitar, classical or metal strings.
Instrumental
Have interesting melody and rhythm

In terms of skill level: I can play 'Classical Gas' by Mason Williams and the single acoustic guitar introduction of Rodrigo y Gabriela's version of Stairway to Heaven.

Songs can be of any style, including interesting arrangements of famous songs.

Ideally I will be playing these in front of an audience.

All help is appreciated, if you need any more info just say, thanks.

Tommy Emanual plays mostly instrumental solo pieces, so check out some of videos and see something strikes your fancy. His stuff is pretty advanced but you can always do a simplified version.

I like playing songs by NeverShoutNever, such as Dare4Distance...They're pretty easy, but also really catchy, i'd give those a look.

Just got a new Epi Hummingbird so I've been trying to break her in as much as possible. Been looking for a bunch of fun acoustic songs to play recently too...

Some fun but (some) semi-challenging ones...

Rebelution - Meant to Be
Stone Temple Pilots - Plush
The Dirty Heads - Lay Me Down
Nirvana - Lake of Fire
Stone Sour - Bother
Rise Against - Hero of War
Slightly Stoopid - Wise Man
Incubus - Pardon Me

Just a start...
