song is decent!

But i'd think it will be more of these poppy songs (they are throwing away their past in te video)

expect something more like folie a deux

I'm too excited about this, I'm not ashamed to admit it. My inner fangirl just wet herself.

If it's anything like Infinity on High i'll be happy! Wasn't really a fan of the way the last album went, I found it fairly weak.

Honestly... I quite like the new song.

Always had a soft spot for FoB. I'd like to hear more geetarz though. At least to know that it is a full band and not just a solo project in ableton xD

I could never get into this band because of the singer. His voice is so damn annoying.

Seventh.

Seems like that till then end... as if like the black guy (who I assume is the remix artist) has tried to change (or destroy) the band and now they must...

...SAVE ROCK AND ROLL

Or maybe it's just a video, wgaf

I like it.
Preordered the vynil.
I find it interesting they lead with such a poppy track when Patty Stumps said that'd Soul Punk would get rid of most of his pop desires and that fans of Soul Punk might be fans of the next FOB. But this sounds like something off Soul Punk mixed with Sleigh Bells or something.

New song would be great if it had guitars in it.

It's bloody catchy though.

It does have guitars. Throughout the whole thing. Like not even just chords in the background, it's Joe riffage throughout.

It's growing on me. I loved Soul Punk, so this KIND of music is cool with me. But I would prefer a little more "rock" in "Save Rock and Roll".

They're at the back of the song, nothing to the extent of Thriller or Carpal Tunnel or older stuff, not even to the extent of I Don't Care.

I see, it's kind of like FaD in the way that they use guitars for textures rather than driving the songs. I expect some more rocky songs considering it's Butch Walker and that'd just be a waste.

Oh god.

I really hope he doesn't ruin the album with that like FUCT.

I'm listening to it right now, as always I'm thinking "This has to be one of the most solid albums I own" but as soon as I get to I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy I'm going to be facepalming and I can't stop myself.

A lot of the screaming on that track is actually by the mighty Chad Gilbert. Only found that out recently.

Yeah I know it wasn't just Pete on the track, but he still wrote that part. Plus the producer had no idea what to do with yelly parts.

It's the screaming in the background of Saturday that gets me...I have no clue, it's so out of place.

i'm not a big fan of Fall Out Boy but I love that scream. It's really the only reason why I listen to that song. I don't think I'd listen to the song if it wasn't for that scream.
I just want to know that I did all I could with what I was given.

Love this band, glad to see them back. The new track is pretty decent.

I don't get it, the video I watched was that a remix or the actual FOB song?

It's not the remix. It says [2Chainz Versions] because it's 2Chainz in the video and it's not the official video.

Same here, I was lucky and got 1 ticket. Unfortunately, my mother was excited about going and I was unable to get her a ticket. I don't understand why scalping on the street is illegal but scalping online isn't.

^ My issue at heart is just that its not really a rock song. I mean sorry, Im all for being open minded but I know what a I want as a fan. They can explore wherever they want but...i dont know. Not a bad recreation live, must be difficult.

The crowd didn't really seem to know what to do with themselves, I much prefer the video to the live recording.
Gear:

Gibson 2005 Les Paul Standard
Fender Road Worn Strat w/ Noiseless pickups
Marshall JCM 2000 401C
Marshall Vintage Modern 2266
Marshall 1960A cab (Dave Hill from Slade's old cab)
Ibanez TS9DX
EHX Little Big Muff

They played live during NBA All-Star Saturday night. They sounded good, but I'm not a fan of 2Chainz.

New album is really good, like a synth driven Infinity on High.

Better than Folie in my opinion.

good pop record. pretty much exactly what i would expect as a follow up to FAD.

main criticisms: Courtney Love cameo is HORRIBLE, bridge to The Phoenix sounds like something by 30STM.
