Gonna start a relic project pretty soon. I want to do James' original white V. Going to find a knock off and relic it up. My question is about the pickups. I know through research that the bridge had a Duncan Invader. What was the neck? Was it stock, or something else? I can't find anything on it anywhere. Barring that, what would compliment the Invader, anything?

I don't think they were dirty fingers. The guitar was a Japanese knock off. I've seen plenty of close ups of the bridge pup. You can't mistake those giant pole pieces, definetly an Invader. Maybe a dirty finger would work well in the neck if I can find one, though.

It's just an Epiphone Flying V with a Duncan invader. The neck pickup is some kind of Seymour Duncan but the model is unknown.
