I just finished building a JCM 800 2203 clone. But I still need to build the head cab to put it in. However I can't find any plans for the JCM 800 head cab. Does anyone have any information on the cab that could help me? Dimensions, wood thickness, anything that could help me out would be appreciated.

measure the chasis and see what you need for LxWxH, pretty basic stuff really

well is your chasis the same size as the JCM800?

They use 3/4" burch plywood with 3/8 roundover router bit. You can use Pine 3/4" since it is cheaper and your going to tolex it correct?

My JCM2000 is L=29 3/4" x W=8 1/2" x H=10 1/4" the JCM800 should be very close to this.

Thanks, I know they add strips to the front facing top and sides to make them thicker. Any ideas how thick those are? And you're sure they use 3/4 in plywood for all sides?

You can get away with 1/2" and it will still look correct.

The strips they add is just another strip of the 3/4" glued to the other one, routed with a 3/8" roundover bit and tolex.
