Hi,
Bought an old Hofner Congress on ebay. I want to equip that guitar with a "modern" P-90 (Neck). My playing style is fingerpicking, I often use Drop-D and I play rather more open and "darker" chords. I use a crunchy tone. Pretty hard to explain
It's like Ben Howard (from the Burgh Island EP) but on electric guitar.
Do you have any suggestions? It seems like the SPH90 from Seymour Duncan and the P-94 from Gibson are often choosen by most people. Do you have more tips for me?
thx a lot!

Take a look at Duncan's P90 Stack. Great tone, and no hum. For that matter, take a look at all of Duncan's P90 pickups. There will be one to fit your needs.
