I have a 6505+ head and want to shift the frequency that is controlled by the mid knob to a lower frequency range. Seeing as my amp is completely disassembled at the moment, I figured I would ask now before I put it back together.

I just don't really know how to build my own electrical designs or know enough about amp building so I don't really know how this would be done. I talked to my local tech and he mentioned something about changing pots. Could this be done simply by changing a few components in the tone stack?

Here's a picture illustrating what I'm talking about. I want to lower the mid freq from the black to red curve. Kind of like the mid sweep mod I have seen from modding companies, but it doesn't have to be sweepable. I just want to lower it a bit.

Thanks.
