idk for some reason love songs just get to me.. right now i'm listening to I Need You by the Beatles and it just gets me feeling so good

Is it stupid to feel that lovey feeling? I guess it's all in equilibrium, so if you feel too much you do stupid things, but if you don't feel it enough, you feel bad?

Pit what do you think, ever feel like turning on some good old lovey dovey music? like Your Song by Elton John or Snow Patrol by Chasing Cars, that kind of stuff? poll up soon!

No, I don't, cuz it's so ****ing cliche. Love songs are for dumb people to listen to and say 'omg i feel da same way! that's so crazy!'

Instead you listen to metal. Which is littered with cliche's for smelly overweight friendless teenagers to relentlessly adore.

Isn't that the point?

I listen to a wide variety of music.

Also, apostrophes don't pluralize. Stay in school, canuck.

I guess. I've never really understood the whole 'listening to music because you relate to the lyrics' thing.

You should also use commas to separate adjectives relating to the same noun.

This looks like a troll post, but whatever. Love songs are common because the feeling is universal and emotionally significant - just as love stories have been constant through history. Whether it's 'cliche' or not depends upon how it's done. I don't see why a love song can't be as nuanced as any other though.

I rather listen to songs about love than songs about left-wing politics or bro0tal evisceration

A lot of great songs are love songs. It's a fairly universal theme.
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes

Of course I like love songs. I also like songs about lost love or unrequited love. I also like songs about hatred, anger, mourning, forlornness, bereavement, insanity, and anything like this or that. If the lyrics are well written, and the song itself is well written, then it doesn't matter if it's a love song or not. The only thing the subject enhances is how you connect to it on an emotional level, and you can connect to a song emotionally even if it's an instrumental.

I listen to a lot of 60s soul music, near every song is a cheesy love song.

That's Motown, I prefer Stax. Although I intend to buy a few compilation albums and learn more about Motown.

You will find tracks of full albums of hers on youtube, and I watched a long concert video of hers (I think it was in Russia).

Got another person into Regina metaphorically, its a good day

As far as love songs I've been into in the past, I always liked the ones Guns N Roses did. Think About You, Don't Cry, November Rain, etc.
Nothing too obscure or anything. Just whatever I happen to hear that strikes my mood.
