I have a bunch of ideas but the only thing holding me back is my skill level in guitar

My goal would be to be more technical but for right now I'm a power chord warrior. Any critique/tips would be great!

Ok, few things!

First thing. TUNE YOUR GUITAR. Not trying to be a jerk, but its one of my pet peeves for recording, its not hard, and it certainly helps you sound more professional! Second, your guitar tone, needs a little work, its pretty grainy, try cutting some 2k! Cut some 500 out of your kick and put a little bit of room sound on your snare to liven it up. You could also do with some cymbals

When he finally gets one it'll probably be televised like the Berlin Wall coming down.

Thank you sir, I tried tuning my guitar to drop b by ear but I'm not that advanced enough to know what it should sound like :X

Not trying to be mean, but it sounds terrible. Like, even the concept of the song. If your guitar was tuned and you got better tone, it would sound like every other metal/hardcore riff that's so popular. I would try messing around with odd changes and more lyrical stylings. Otherwise you sound like every other hardcore band with nothing to say.

I'll give those odd changes a shot and post another one when I get done, thank you it didn't sound mean at all! Just looking for tips.
