Its quite possible its a refinished body, the large swirl and odd grain is pretty ugly, a definite trait of basswood.

Fair enough, just seemed logical as it looks like a cort take on the Ibanez RG.

Fair enough, just seemed logical as it looks like a cort take on the Ibanez RG.


It indeed looks live a Cort Viva. They use maple on the newer models though.
