I just ordered a couple of these speakers and have yet to install them still because of this problem...

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSED_pDjh2ugZrH5bbJOiVKX8imyGCVA64vR0N19cvOSSCzM-_X See the terminals?

sorry i don't know how to upload pictures on here, i even tried the "insert image" icon and the "manage attachment" icon, but anyways my guitar cabinet speaker connector wire-ends look like everyone elses on google and youtube, like this...

I was thinking of replacing my cab connectors with banana plugs like these...

http://www.optimization-world.com/img/prod/banana.jpg

and just crimp my existing wires and put the bare exposed copper wires into those banana plug then plug em into the speaker i just don't kno for sure if that'll work
I know that these are PA speakers but I also know that these speakers can infact go into a guitar cab.... EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING THEY'RE GREAT BUT HOW DO THEY DO IT?!?!

Edit: Oh, the attachment worked, okay then, hehe

Yeah. But the same can be said for DAR amps and other amps which use "weird" tubes...dammit I want a pair of KT120s..I might blow up my amp and burn my house down, but at least I'll go out in a blaze of glory

Not sure how safe those banana connectors would be. I've never seen it done like that.

Usually speakers either have the 'spade' type connectots like in my pic below or they are just soldered directly. I can't tell what you have based on the pic you attached. I'm sure one of my smart friends will come in here and confirm.

I went through google again under images for the eminence delta pro 12a TERMINAL and found THE picture that I really needed and then clicked on it following it to the Boogie Board. So, sorry to have posted a new thread BUT this link could help someone else out like it helped me. I would have never thought of this....

The Eminence terminals are designed to just clamp onto bare wires so just cut off the spade conector and strip about 1cm of the cable. You can tin the end of the wire if you are handy with a soldering iron but you'll get a better connection without adding a banana connector or a crimped connector.

Surprised you are using these for guitar though, you're trading extended bass response you don't need for efficiency.

Have you tried them in a guitar cabinet or are you just guessing? I have an oversized 2x12 that was built specifically for these speakers and they sound absolutely huge.
