These guys are definitely worth checking out. The album is called "Grind The Ocean". The whole album is fairly complex musically, but always a good listen.

...well they're not a hardcore band and I'm pretty sure there is already a thread for these guys

They opened for Periphery and Protest the Hero last 4/20 in NYC. I had never heard of them until then but they sounded pretty good. I went home and checked out their stuff, not bad. I don't like all of it but they got some cool songs.

Caught the last two songs when they opened for BTBAM and Periphery in Newcastle. I'd been a fan before I saw them, but they were tight live. I wish I'd got there on time and seen their full set, but the buses where I live are very unreliable.

They were supposed to be supporting The Faceless on their UK tour, and I was looking forward to seeing a full set, but the tour was unfortunately cancelled.

But... this IS the hardcore forum and there's an old thread for this band in the Prog forum.

They're not really metalcore either before you say anything,

These riffs all sound like metalcore riffs a la older BTBAM or Oh Sleeper. They add a lot of odd time signatures and overcomplicated phrases, but it's essentially just overcomplicated metalcore in the same vein as Alaska. I don't really hear the djent at all, coincidentally, outside the tight palm muting and time signatures, but both of those are characteristic of a range of genres and not djent specifically.

Yeah, I don't really care about genres that much, and they're obviously closer to djent than Alaska is. My point was more that I feel like they fit better in this forum than anywhere else, really.
