Hi! I have question about Made in Japan Strats 1993-1994. Are those Japan strats better than American strats? IS it worth to buy, and how good are they?
I'v found few on ebay, but i dont know, are they worth to buy?
Also, whats with tremolo/whammy system, its stays in tune?
Thanks!

1. Every guitar is different, some Japanese strats are better than American, sometimes it's the other way around.
2. I don't know if it's worth the buy, only you do. How much is it?
3. The tremolo system can stay in tune pretty well with a good setup.

If you can't answer those questions for yourself (meaning that you can't play it before you buy it), then you probably shouldn't be buying it (especially off of eBay if there's no return policy).

That's an odd era for Fender Japan. Some of the Strats are fantastic, especially if you can get the ones with the 7.25" radius neck and the 2-Screw vintage trem. Generally in that era Fender put some really junk electronics in there, though.

I'd save some cash up, don't get hung up on the price. If you find a CIJ Strat that plays really well from that time, buy it with the idea that you're going to probably gut it and replace everything, at least I would.
