i really am having trouble weighing out the pros and cons between the two.
if it helps, i play gigs atleast 4 times a month and we play indie rock of sorts.
thanks!

I'd probably grab the fender then for indie rock. There are instances where the roland has been used, and the roland can do a lot of things, but the fender is a much safer choice.
Fender Strat Deluxe
Fender MexiStrat
Epiphone Sheritan
Ibanez Artcore
Fender Twin Reverb silverface
Roland JC120
Pedals

Do you run any pedals? if so, i'd go for the JC120

Curious why you'd sugest the JC120 over the Deluxe for that reason? I don't have any experience with the JC's but the Deluxe takes pedals exceptionally well.

The JC120 is amazingly clean and pristine with excellent articulation and note separation, but it is also a bit on the cold side and in my opinion lacks some of the dynamics that the Fender might have. As the name implies it tends to be more suited to jazz.

We had a JC120 set up at the shop i used to work at and it was just amazing with pedals, good solid platform to build upon i found it to be like a blank canvas which i loved. It's just such a clean amp which is great for pedals. Fender's are amazing but in my opinion, when it comes to pedal platforms, the JC is way up there. Just my 2 cents
