I don't know about you, but that's a really good price for asats in my area. Usually I'm really lucky to see a G&L tribute less than $350 on the used market.
We need much more information about your playing style, needs, etc. to tell you that.
Those are nice guitars and they have the same pickups as the USA made model. If you like Tele style guitars, then you would probably like the ASAT, I do
2002 PRS CE22
2013 G&L ASAT Deluxe
2009 Epiphone G-400 (SH-4)
Marshall JCM2000 DSL100
Krank 1980 Jr 20watt
Krank Rev 4x12 (eminence V12)
GFS Greenie/Digitech Bad Monkey
Morley Bad Horsie 2
MXR Smart Gate
Sure you wouldn't prefer a Legacy?

looks dead sexy. I love the tele and guitars of that style. Any chance you could test drive it? I've always had the impression G&L were good guitars and from what I've seen of their price ranges it seems like a pretty good deal. I actually live in that area too but have too many guitars as is. well too many teles anyways (if there is such a thing)
