Loch Lomond ofc. Second one is too racist, third one is too gay, fourth one has no video.

I love Loch Lomond, but I never really got the love for Danny Boy. I'd take The Minstrel Boy over it any day.

Loch Lomond, hands down.

I've sung most of those back when I was in an acapella group in high school. We were actually pretty good haha. But Loch Lomond was by far my favorite song to sing. I commiserate more with the emotions it seems to try to convey.

Where me and my true love will never meet again... on the bonnie, bonnie banks of loch lomond.

Out of those, Loch Lomond

but the kesh jig is objectively the best irish musical thing (edit: i just found out loch lomond is scottish. whatever)

because that's not a public domain traditional song

OP didnt specify folk tunes needed to be public domain, and OP posted some bottom of the barrel folk tunes which have been overused and abused...Seriously???Josh Groban??? Oh Danny Boy? public domain not because of the songs age...heck public domain because the song is crap!

I wouldn't call Amazing Grace a folk tune, certainly it's a hymn, though. Lavenders Blue, Greensleeves, Scarborough Fair songs like that I think of as old fashioned folk songs.

lol stewie has bad taste in folk music

actual good folk tunes:

wayfaring stranger
shady grove
house of the rising sun
mountain dew
whiskey in the jar
scarborough fair
troika
sailor's hornpipe
drunken sailor

etc
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

Really like Amazing Grace, never been too big on Danny Boy other than when Sam Cooke sings it, Loch Lomond's okay, don't like Minstrel Boy.
Most of the folk music I dig is when artists I already like, Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Johnny Cash, others, do it.

You're an idiot, too. If the songs were 'crap' I doubt they'd remain incredibly popular for hundreds of years.
