Hi, I have an RG1451 [forbidden link]. I need some advice on fixing it up. I would like to clean the fretboard (rosewood), how do i get the grime of it? How do i hydrate the wood? What do i buy to do this?

My pick ups have a bit of rust to them, what is the best way to clean them? I also have sometimes some buzzing with my guitar when held in a certain position. where can i find a wiring diagram for the Ibanez Rg1451? i would like to make sure everything is good. the tone nob is also loose, how should I fix this?

I really like the Gibson Luthier cleaners (I have this set, it's lasted me years. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/gibson-luthiers-choice-guitar-care-triple-pak).

The Dunlop 65 stuff is also good, but I don't like it for actually cleaning the fretboard - it's good for after the fretboard is already clean.

0000 steel wool
lemon oil (it's up to you on this, it's a 50/50 thing with people)
small (soft) tooth brush
for the buzzing- raise or lower the action, possible trussrod adjustment
for the diagram you may have research the Ibanez site or even contact them

I'm sure the next person that comes on here will explain a totally different way. Just do your research.
