This is an amazing guitar!
I got a amazing deal on it $200 with a hardshell case.
It's the 1997 model in rare Purple Pearl with Cosmo Black Hardware, Original Super Wizard neck with Bubinga strip, and Original Ibanez EDGE!

Like it's half brother branded as "yamaha RGX", these are (in my opinion) the most versatile guitar for the money.

The yamahas have a different neck than the ibanez.......not as fast as a wizard neck.

It doesn't matter which guitar I start my "daily metal moment" with because I always end switching to one like yours because it just feels right and does everything well.

Nice score and cool color option.

Not mine below.....mine is black and scratched to hell from years as a "emergency spare house guitar" but it just keeps on working and working well and it has the same edge trem that is different than the one pictured.

Greed, I actually got mine the same way you got yours, for even less i might add. They truly are great guitars, it honestly is a very comfortable guitar to play, and I normally don't like thin necks like that, and the stock pickups are pretty good. Mine was MIJ, but no hard case.
Congrats

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Nice! I'm curious about why they would put an original edge on it.

The original edge is stock the guy didn't change it. Ibanez stopped putting the original edge on the Rg570 on 1991 for the edge Lo Pro until 1996 then they put the original edge back in 1997 for whatever reason I guess it was customer demand.
