i'm pretty deadset on getting a bass amp instead of a guitar amp. when i tried it for the first time a few years ago, it was sick.

can anyone rec. a good bass amp they've used that sounds great with guitar? (used or new, less than $300)

The Orange Crush PiX CR50BXT works interestingly with guitars and "guitar-oriented" effects.

IMHO, it sounds better than most solid state guitar amps on that price range.

if i'm going to spend the $ on a bassman....
would it be better to get a gtr head (eg marshall or peavy)
and run it through a bass cab?

that's how kyuss/qotsa does it i believe
