Skeptical.

Sequels work when the story is sufficiently different. This one sounds like it's just the same as the first, which never, ever works. Ever.

I'm worried about Pixar, part of their magic was that they avoided going the Dreamworks route and churning out sequels, now they're doing just that

If Pixar doesn't make this kick ass they'll be ****ed for quite a while.

Actually Monsters University sucking would too, forgot about that.

Oh man, that would be awesome. I'd much rather have a sequel to The Incredibles than Finding Nemo to be honest.

We literally only have a title to base any assumptions on. How are you guessing that it will be the same as the first?

Anyways. Cars is the only Pixar film I've seen that I haven't liked (didn't see Cars 2, or Brave), and Toy Story 3, a sequel obviously, is my favorite movie of all time. I'm not concerned that there could be even a chance that this movie won't rule.

first one was hardly realistic.
doubt the second will be either.

Do you understand the concept of Disney films?

'And after a while, you can work on points for style.
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.'

'You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.'

The fucking Incredibles was setup like there was going to be a damn sequel and they pull this shit? I hope this movie flops big time.

Why do I get the feeling Pixar will suck for the next couple of years.

Oh right, nothing but shitty sequels, none of which being The Incredibles 2.

Why do people automatically assume that sequels are bad? Did nobody see Toy Story 3?

Also, out of 5 upcoming projects, there's only 1 prequel, and 1 sequel.

Which 5 projects? All they've officially announced are Monsters Inc 2, Finding Dory, and The Good Dinosaur.

Inside Out in 2015, and a not yet titled film about the Day of The Dead in 2016.

Chances of Finding Dory being shit are high because, just form reading the name, it's the same shit but with a different character getting lost.

Wait... we might, we just MIGHT get .... Grim Fandango the movie?

Cars 2 was made because Disney made a lot more money off the toys from Cars than from some of their other films, and it is supposedly Pixar's worst film. The original Cars wasn't that great either.

Looking forward to Monsters University though.

A Finding Nemo sequel I am not sure... The first very much seemed like a stand-alone. It could be good but it sounds like they are doing what they did with Cars 2 (take the comic relief character from the original and make a sequel about them).

I agree I also really want an Incredibles sequel.

Planes actually isn't being made by Pixar, which to me is a guarantee that it's just Disney making money.

Yeah apparently Disney wanted another Cars sequel due to the massive amounts of toys sold, but Pixar said no to the script which isn't promising.

This is the easiest and the only Pixar movie that ever needed a sequel. I mean, Toy Story 2 and 3 were great and handled really well, but the first Toy Story didn't scream sequel to me. With the Incredibles, there just needs to be a new Super Villain and you're set. I'm not looking for a rehashing of the last story, but a continuation still.

Anyways the Incredibles is the most underrated Pixar movie. Definitely top 5.
