A live arrangement (single guitar, 1 take) of my song The Fallen. Finally getting around to re-recording lots of my old crappy songs. c4c as always, just post a link I'll try to get back to you within the week.

I can't sing, but there are lyrics:

Chorus: Rise

Verse:

The fallen have risen, it's their time to come
Ascending from hell, the game has begun
Approaching the battlefield, their eyes glowing red
Soon our enemies will be dead

Chorus: Die

Verse:

With axes in hand, and crossbows drawn
They clash with their enemies, from dusk until dawn
The war wages on, for hundreds of years
Still they fight on, the end is near

Bridge:

A victor emerges, his sword drips with blood
Eyes fixed upon the bodies, little life remains in his soul
A demon rises from the ashes, eyes set ablaze
This war isn't over, we shall rise again

Guitar Solos

Alt. Verse:

A demonic axe, dwells with a black luster
Forged in brimstone, from the fires of Hell
And on this tempest night, forged from tempered steel
A heavenly blade, crafted by God's own hand

Chorus: (Choir Ah's)

Alt. Verse:

Evil lurks forward, his axe drags behind
The angel grows weary, and motions the sign
The demon protrudes, back into the night
How can dark exist, in a world without light?

Edit: Just for kicks, my electronic version:

Nice. Really nice. The only thing I didn't like was that on both versions, the bass was a bit too loud. Maybe it should be a bit more reserved. I might be interested in doing vocals on this. My death growls aren't really that great, but hey, I'd definately like to give it a shot.

If you get a second, feel free to check out my song, "Bitter memories".

The vocal line I imagined for the verse is similar to Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills."

"Chasing the redskins back to their holes
Fighting them at their own game"

If you're interested, shoot me a PM and we'll see how it goes.

I can tell those riffs are really good but I would work on tone man. But I can tell you're really into doom, I hear the doom influences there and it sounds really classic! What equipment are you using?

I did this really quick in Audacity with my Line 6 Gearbox. I paid for the Gold Bundle but switched computers and they won't let me activate the extra stuff. It's so outdated I can't even get customer service for it. (Honestly, I'm just terrible at finding good tones.)

Ah, yeah I just googled that and it looks like they don't even make those anymore.I would suggest investing in a tube amp. It really makes a difference and when I bought one it helped change how I payed attention to tone and dynamics. Also I like your sabbath covers.

Yeah, I'm so broke I haven't been able to buy anything new in a couple years. I just want to save up for Tony Iommi's signature amp, cabs, and pickups and be set for life, lmao.

As a fellow lover of doom metal I really dig this stuff man. I'm just a sucker for those big thick slow brutal chords man. Like someone else said just work on your tone a little and you'll be good. I'd put this kind of stuff in my daily play list.
Rockybo on Gwar: "What costumes? They're from fucking outer-space, you retard."
