I am thinking of buying this Yamaha SE250.

Other than the info provided, I don't know anything about it. Are they any good, etc? I don't really want to waste a trip to Cincinnati for nothing if I don't like it.

I have a Peavey Vypyr and play black/thrash/trying doom metal.

I've never encountered one, but from my experience, Yamaha typically makes a pretty sweet and underrated product. I'd rock that thing, it looks pretty cool for a pink guitar.

Pretty solid starter guitar, $200 is overpriced though. $150 is reasonable.

I got one of these used as my first guitar back in 1987/88 Paid $150.00 for it then. Just goes to show, if you keep a guitar in good shape, they never really lose their second hand value.

As for quality, it seemed decent enough at the time, I could barely play Smoke On The Water at that point though. My guitar teacher liked it and said it was fairly good.

I sold mine a year later when I bought my Hagstrom. If any one ever sees a baby blue one, let me know. It would be cool for nostalgia to have one again.
YA GOTTA HIT IT ON THE ONE
