Hello all, I just finished recording a funky tune called "My Mama Told Me So" by The Crusaders and was just hoping for another set of ears to give it a listen and offer a critique (for which I'd happily return in kind).

Thanks!

EDIT: Music is on my profile (in case that wasn't evident)

Nice job, great song. You sound more like Jerry G. than Larry C. on lead, but that's o.k.

The Crusaders' version is in Bb. I assume you chose the more guitar friendly key of B since you have no sax.

Love it man. Very cool indeed. Thats the Kind of thing I would sit and listen to all day, (While getting NOTHING done !)

Love the Tone, B sounds good to me!

The "bass" in this song is actually a de-tuned fretless nylon string guitar; the way the tuning worked out (-6 1/2 steps) this song fell nicely into the key of B so it was just coincidence.
Thanks for the input!
