I'm trying to sell this guitar, but I'm not sure of what model it is.
I bought it from a friend and he has no clue what it is.

Based on my guess and the serial number, I assume it's an RG350DX? Except the thing is that this one has a S1 pickup in the middle, and the 350DX usually has an INFS1.

Please help me identify it! Also I'd like to know what kind of tremolo it has.

I can't upload any pics because the file size is always too big and if I do then it will not look very clear.

It looks exactly like the RG350EX, and the serial number is F9937436

EDIT: I put a pic up, sorry about the hassle I should have done so earlier -_-

not an RG350 if it has an F serial number, RG3xx series never came out of japan
So like, nipple hairs...is that sexy?

Oh wow that is very weird. It looks EXACTLY like the RG350EX.
Hmm I wonder what it would be then... it has a mirrored pickguard, pickups are DiMarzio Paf Pro, Ibanez S1, and DiMarzio Super Distortion. It has black body, rosewood neck.

I assumed it was RG350 since it was introduced in 1998 and I thought they came out of Japan.
Also the headstock just says "Ibanez RG Series", and the back of the neck has a brown stripe running down it.

Hmm sounds like an Rg550 with An super wizard neck.

Is it possible this guitar is a custom build? Where did your friend get it from?

No one else on the forum has trouble putting up pictures, you can too. It would make this much easier to answer.

Yeah. I've seen this question asked sooo much here on UG and the correct answer springs up almost immediately.

I have no clue if it is a custom build, but I am guessing it may be a custom build since the knobs don't match and the pickguard is different also.

I also don't know where my friend got it from...

My Guess: It's most likely an RG 350EX with different pickups and a different pickguard. You should really find out what kind of humbuckers those are before you go selling the thing for an RG 350EX price...

Edit: OR an RG 550 considering the bridge looks to me to be an Edge 1. If the neck is the original, it should say "Made in Japan." If so, it's worth more than the RG 350EX. That would make sense considering it has an S1 single coil in it.

I'm pretty sure it's not as the 350EX was introduced in 2005, while this guitar's serial number shows that it was made in 1999.

Also the pickups are DiMarzio PAF Pro Neck, IBZ S1 Mid, DiMarzio Super Distort Bridge

I see. I know the tuners on the back say made in Japan, and it does say Japan.

Ok PROBLEM SOLVED

Thanks all

I'm glad you finally used the word "an" properly. It was really bugging me.

Sorry about that.
