was wondering if anybody on here knows where to get some wood veneer sheets for my fret gaps on my guitar neck.

i live in bathusrt nsw, aus.

been looking around but cant find any.

didnt think buying the wood would be the hard bit!!!

any ideas. thanks

You don't want to do that TS. If you don't like the fret board redo the fret board don't cover it up.

I don't think that's what the TS wants it for. I believe it's for a fretless conversion, putting veneer in the empty fret slots is one technique for ensuring both a smooth playing surface and maintaining neck strength.

Then again I could well be wrong!

yeah its to replace the frets that ive removed. turning a fret into a fretless. notthemessiah30 is right

its an old bass thats been sat doing nothing for a while
