The amp in question is an Egnater Tweaker 40. I was playing and all of a sudden it sounded like someone pulled the power cable out. Now it won't turn back on.

What do?

What is involved with "checking" a fuse?

Look at the back of the amp near the power cord. There is a fuse check it to see if it is blown.

Do the lights/tubes come on?

check the mains fuse on the back panel of the amp. If it is blown, replace with the exact same type only.
If the fuse is good, time for a warranty repair or trip to the tech.

There are some internal fuses, but unless your confident don't go poking inside your amp.

I'm "shocked" nobody said, "Make sure your amp is unplugged before you mess with the fuse."...

Edit: I see it.

Check the fuses, also check the outlet. Maybe it has a GFCI, it's happened to me before.

Not a Fuuuuuuse issue. The outlet point is very valid point though. I have outlets in my house that don't work that involved me tweaking out on my electronics before I realized they just, straight up, weren't powered. TS- Try a different outlet.

If the fuse and outlet is ok but won't power up it could be a number of things up to and including the power transformer. From what you are saying it's time to take it to a tech. If we have to explain how to check a fuse then any further diagnosis is beyond your ken.
You did test the other outlet with some other device didn't you?

+1

Messing around inside a tube amp without knowing what you are doing can certainly spell disaster. Test the outlet first, and if that's not the issue then take it to a take or somebody that has experience in the field.

I have utterly no desire to open it up myself. Was just hoping it was going to be the fuse.

And yes, I tested them with other devices.

Time to take it to somebody that knows what they are looking at then.
