to whom it may concern;
for 1 week straight I have been trying to download Guitar Pro tabs. But your site lets you click on download, then for 15 sec, It bring up a pop up, then takes you right back to the download page. Even if you are a registered user you never get to download the song......WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!
I use guitar pro 6 for all of my writeings and to lern songs. You were the only site to offer gutiat pro songs... do I have to erase your site and search for another. By the way your pop ups are extremely anoying and no one enjoys having to wait and click off from them. We just want the song..........
Email me back when you get this fixed..

This is gonna rehash a previous thread from a couple weeks ago entitled: "15 Seconds To View My Tab? Madness!" This was the last comment from a mod (zappp):

"Next time anyone posts any information about how to overcome technical restrictions implemented on the site, you'll get banned permanently by IP."

Yes, and operating this site, which is absolutely free to you, costs money. So you just have to look at an ad, like everywhere else in the internet, in order to take advantage of this free service. I don't see why this is such a problem.

But you're saying that once the pop-up is over, you still can't download the file? Because that is an issue.

Can someone PM me a link to an alternative to UG? I will not waste my time on this type of forced advertisement.

Dear Users,

We don't show this timer for our tab contributers and users with Ad Free/Tab Pro service. Make our site better and you won't see any Ad

Best regards,
UG Team

How many tabs do you have to contribute? I've done a few and there are several Guitar Pro files that I tabbed for Mysongbook.com back in the day that ended up here credited to other users..

Out of curiosity, what's the conversion rate so far on the ad that counts down when attempting to download a tab?

It has gone for me ...
I don't know if I have ever submitted a tab or if it is just my adblock.

---edit---

Did you make an account just for this rant?

You know what would be really sweet? Having a beautiful bird inlaid around the first fret, taking a majestic dump with airborne droppings around the 5th, 7th, 9th frets and so on, with a graceful impact around the 22nd-24th.
