Hey everyone.

I'm currently writing a new song for my band and I'm really undecided upon which lyrics to choose. I have two possible choruses (both with different melodies but equally as catchy) and I'm really undecided of which ones to possibly use.

I would really love some help and some possible feedback on the lyrics as well?

Here they are -

(Possible Chorus 1)

I know you’re wrong,
Your lies were written in the pavement,
Your name was set in stone,
Written there, all alone.

I know you’re wrong,
Your lies were written in the pavement,
Your name was carved in stone,
Withered there, all alone.

(Possible Chorus 2)

I have given up,
It’s clear as day,
Hammer the nails right in the box,
Have me locked up and put away,
The sun has risen up,
The regrets, still stay.
The sky so heavy, It’s weighing me down,
Heavier than the decisions I made.
Heavier than the decisions I made.
