Hi. I noticed the Fulltone OCD pedal suggests a 9-volt power adapter.
The Fulltone OCD manual suggests no problem to increase input voltage
anywhere from 9v to 18v. There have been several online reviews towards
positive results/tones using 18v. Fulltone OCD is a solid state pedal.

Is it possible “or” not a good idea to vary line-in voltages
into guitar pedals that have actual 12AX7 12AY7 or 12AU7 tubes?
What do you know or have experienced.

I have several pedals with either one or two 12xx7 tubes.
They range from 9v, 12v suggested from the factory.
Also, I have a Real Works - Real Tube Overdrive (12AX7)
that plugs into the 120/AC wall wort with no adapter.

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

get an original spider, grab a tube mic preamp, some adapters and there you go. tube power. you could try a light bulb, they screw right in.

go. away.

See, it's important that people clarify when they say "metal", because I pretty much always assume they are a Cannibal Corpse fanboi.
