gotta love an acoustic song with electric lead. nice job, plus im pretty jealous of the absinthe, ive never gotten to try any sadly lol. so by the looks of it you have a capo on the 5th fret of the acoustic? i like it alot but maybe you should try to mix up the lead part around 1:36 for a little more variety or throw in a sweet bridge section. nice guitars too.

mind giving my material a listen?

well, that electric lead is only there to show you what the vocal melody would be if i could sing haha

and yes, that is a capo
i think the chords sound better transposed up there

your def right, could i ask what chords those were? unless their just basic first position chords i guess. i rarely use capos but i guess its time to start. i kinda prefer downtuning

the chords you hear are
Dm A# C in the verse
A# C pre-chorus
and F Dm Am A#

with the capo on i play Am F G - verse, F G - pre-chorus, C Am Em F - chorus

Hi there, very nice melodies I hear. You get slightly off around 36 seconds, but I really like the change around 47 seconds, especially the combination of harmony on the electric. I think with a vocalist and a band behind you this would make for a good song. Not much else to say, other than nice work, sounding good man.

I have an acoustic band called Valley Haze, give us a listen if you wish
