I recently came up with a way to make picks out of any image I want, and have decided to maybe start a small business with, so I can support my multitude of hobbies. The question is how much would you pay for custom picks?
#3
I wouldn't.
There's a special sex move I do called the Charizard.
It's where you light the girls pubes, then put it out with your cum and run around the room flapping your arms screaming, "You don't have enough badges to train me!"
#6
Pretty good quality IMO, any image you want, and I was thinking maybe selling by the dozen at between $4-$6
#7
How they feel/bend is more important than any image on them

To be honest, that's something a person could DIY for cheaper and without having to pay shipping. Larger companies who already do that would be able to offer lower prices. It's a neat idea, but it's not going to be profitable.

This is an awful idea.

Selling by the dozen?

Who the **** needs that many picks? I got one when I first started playing guitar in 2003.

3 new guitars, 4 amps and 10 years later, I still have and use the same pick

Probably that. But I also probably wouldn't buy them.

Also, I think you meant to put >$1 in your poll.

Unless you put more than $1 intentionally.
Followed by a poll option of exactly $1.
But that's just weird.

Yeah I figured that out after running into a website called ClaytonCustoms.com . Oh well. Another dream shattered.

I go through about a dozen a month. They're usually sold by the dozen or half dozen.

Yeah, I lose mine all the time. That is why I chose a larger number.

Guys, I've been using the same pick for about 4 years now.
This bad boy right here.

3.0 mm.

Granted I've lost it a few times, but I always find it again. Appropriately, I too, ask, ...the hell is wrong with you?

Is the point not completely worn away?

Not really. It's more rounded, obviously, but not "bad" or anything.

..or maybe it would be to anyone else and I'm just used to it >.>

do you guys who don't change picks for years play nothing but lullabies? i don't even play as much as i used to anymore but i still switch out a new Jazz III every month or two because the tip wears down and the pick attack sounds/feels different.

I use thin picks that wear out quickly and I play a lot.

How the hell have you not lost it? I have to buy a dozen every year or so and some people I know go through more than that.
I also use Dunlop nylons and they wear down a decent amount.

I would pay for a custom pick. I have a Tool pick and a Trivium pick that I like to use. I think they are cool and I'd pay for someone to put an image I wanted on a pick.
