hey guys:
I have a question for all multieffects in general but..... I have a zoom G5 and I want to plug it to the computer but my pc is realllly old and don't have the specifics that the G5 need, but can I use the edit and share program that zoom provide for free to edit the patches without installing the G5 ASIO driver?(I'm not going to record until I get a new PC)
Yes, you should be able to install that software without installing the ASIO drivers, as ASIO is really only important when recording, not editing patches on the unit itself.

Also, attempting to install the ASIO drivers will not blow your sound card. It's the ASIO drivers for the G5 unit so you can record through it. It has zero effect on your computer's internal sound card.
