We all suffer from it sometimes... not sure where to take a song next... not sure what to do for a bassline etc... so I thought, why not start a thread where people can post songs they're stuck on so that others can add their ideas? You don't have to take what someone else has written, but it's often helpful to get a fresh approach on something you're stuck in a rut with.

To get the ball rolling I've uploaded a song that I've been stuck on for a while (Prog Metal) and can't work out what comes next (bar 33).

So butcher away or add your own troubles!

After witnessing your thread on 'Omethising' other people's work not too long ago, I'm interested to see how your contributions turn out also...

OP, I added to your solo. That's about it. If you are interested in more, I can add more, but I think this should help. Maybe. If it's not too weird. Also, interesting take at Prog! I can't wait to hear it when it's finished!

Sorry about the double post, this was the most proffessional looking way I could think to do this. I, also, am stuck on a jazz piece I'm writing. Any insight, ideas, or riffs would be great. Thank you.

Might be a good idea to have some sort of "ruleset" for a thread like this, for example if someone does work or suggests ideas for one of your pieces you should by courtesy at least check out something he's working on and either give an idea or a small critique of it?

Like a C4C but for Work in Progress stuff, and instead of a critique it would be an idea, a review, or a direction you see their work going in.

Just my 2 cents

^ Off topic, but I clicked on the link in your sig for your band's website and I totally shit my pants: seriously that startled me so much. A song starts out off nowhere WAY too loud lol
