Trying to decide on a good versatile tremolo pedal, preferably analog over digital but I can be convinced to go to digital on this pedal if it is really awesome. I need one that can nail that wavery psychadelic 70's type tremolo and a more modern (angular?/jagged?) progressive metal type of tremolo - my budget is like $100 - $120. I play a fairly wide range of styles/genres and play covers so I need something that can really cover a lot of ground. I live in Georgia, USA if my location is needed. Please give me some suggestions!

you can find a four knob voodoo lab one used in budget quite easily, if not new. i have only played the four knob trem once, but i do own two other voodoo lab pedals. they are pretty damn hard to beat for the price.

if you want some different, ikey_ has a good recommendations. the fulltone trem sounds pretty good too.

See if you can snag a Boss Tremolo/Pan[PN-2 I think] pedal. I owned one some years back, and it was fantastic. Wish I'd held on to that one. Got a good chunk of dough for it on Ebay, though.

lovepedal is coming in at about 125. i have it. sounds good, high quality, all business. if you REALLY need a readily adjustable intensity, it may not be for you. i am fine with an inernal trim pot.

CMAT is top notch, hand made, deifintely worth it if you can spend some extra bones. if it is saving 20-30 bucks and getting a boss or spending an extra 10-20 and getting something like a CMAT....get the CMAT.

Flickenger is 100% handmade. and by that i mean literally no factory or machine shop. its literally a dude in a garage (probably a more professional setting but still) hand doing each one, and then hand painting each one. it literally is HAND MADE 1 by 1. for 150....solid.

whats 20 bucks? a few days gas money?
