One of the tuning pegs on my Harmony parlour guitar doesn't turn anymore. The piece of plastic that you're supposed to turn has come off. Am I limited to replacing the tuning peg? Can I take a peg off of one of my electric guitars (squire bullet) and replace it (I don't really care too much about the tackiness) or do I have to buy a new tuning peg bar and replace the whole bar? I already tried using very strong glue but this peg is very very stubborn.

If you can find one of the screws/heads/thing you turn, you can just replace that, however you won't find many places selling just that.

You can to replace the bar.

I have a squire that I use for parts. Would it be possible to switch out one of the single tuning pegs with the squires? I just really don't want to spend 30-40 on a bar because this is just a guitar I mess around with.

Open up the casing on one of the squires tuning pegs and you should see one of the screw/peg things, you should be able to take it out and do a simple swap.
