I have an audition to play guitar for the show that my uni course is puttingt on this year. They said that the feel this year would have a funk/jazz feel. I know nothing about these genres. Can you guys give me some recommendations of songs that wouldn't be too hard to learn quickly?

I'd say give a listen to:
Jamiroquai - Love Foolosophy
Tower of Power - Souled out
and even some Stevie wonder songs might be usefull

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

Why is everyone suggesting sub-par Jamiroquai? Get yourself something off of Travelling Without Moving or Return of the Space Cowboy!

Runaway is pretty much the best thing they ever did.

Anyway, this is about as funky as you can possibly get:

EDIT: If you want something that encompasses both funk, jazz, and great guitar playing, how about some Lee Ritenour? Especially the stuff with Marcus Miller.
